price
Please refer to a Grand Rapids pricing guide for suggested pricing. Pricing is your final decision, these are just recommendations based off of prior sales.

discount (optional)
Please be selective on the items that you decide not to discount.  The last day of the sale is 50% off day.  You decide if you would like your item to sell at 50% or remain at full price.

description
The better the description the better your item will sell.  Use words such as:  Brand Name, Gently Used, only worn once, name of book, etc.

tagging supplies availabe to purchase at cost

1 - tagging gun (includes 400 fasteners)  $13.00
50 -  sheets of white cardstock (prints 300 tags)  $2.00
15 - adult size wire hangers  $1.00

If you would like to purchase any items, please email sharronballard@jbfsale.com

placing tags on clothing
Please use 1" or larger safety pins: no straight pins or small gold ones.  Remember all multi-piece clothing items must be safety pinned together through all pieces. This will prevent your items from separating or use a Tagging Gun.  Place tag on clothing label or seams to prevent holes in items.

tagging toys and baby equipment
Fasten tags securely to your items with clear mailing tape; do not use scotch tape.   Zip ties are great and useful for attaching tags and multiple items together (can be purchased at a local hardware store, discount stores, or wholesale stores).  Items with multiple pieces, place barcode tag on main item, and label each piece with your consignor number.  Try to attach to main item.

tagging shoes
Just make sure that the shoes are clean, clean, clean!  Not too worn.    Fasten shoes together with ribbon, string, or Zip ties by punching a hole in the top of your tag and attaching the tag.

hanging instructions
All garments should be hung with the hanger hook pointing left (hanger should resemble a question mark when looking at the front of item). Safety pin clothing sets on one hanger so both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them.    Please safety pin pants to the top part of the hanger so the garment will not slide.

hangers
Any hangers do the trick, wire, plastic, department store.

sort
Please have your clothes sorted by size and gender. This will make drop off easier and faster for you.
