donate (optional)
Blessing others has never been more easy!  You can choose to donate all, a few, or none at the touch of a button.  Just always keep in mind, any items not picked up during consignor pick up times will be donated.  You can even print up a  tax-deduction form for items donated .

price
You set your own price on all items. Price to sell! Generally items sell for 1/2  to 1/3 of the original price, depending on name brand and condition. Better brand names, unique items, or high price items usually bring more. Ask yourself "What would I pay for this item?  Keep in mind you'll be earning 65% - 70% of the amount it sells for, so price it for what you'll be satisfied with. Please make all prices end in .00 or .50

discount (optional)
Please be selective on the items that you decide not to discount.  The last day of the sale is 50% off day.  You decide if you would like your item to sell at 50% or remain at full price.

description  The more words used to describe the item the better in case the tag becomes seperated from the item.  Words or phrases that positively describe the item are helpful in selling it.  Such as: brand new, worn a few times, great Easter outfit, fabulous for church, etc.  Brand names are also great eye catchers.

tagging with safety pins
Please use 1" or larger safety pins: no straight pins or small gold ones.  Remember all multi-piece clothing items must be safety pinned together through all pieces. This will prevent your items from separating.

tagging with a tagging gun
We highly recommend the use of using a tagging gun! It is much quicker, and it leaves almost no markings from the tags this way. If you are interested we have a starter kit available to you for $25 plus shipping charges. Each kit contains:

1 - Tagging Gun
400 attachers
50 regular sized wire hangers
25 child sized wire hangers
25 sheets of white cardstock

If you would like to purchase a kit, please email sharronballard@jbfsale.com

tag location
Attach card with either the tagging gun or the safety pins to  upper right front of clothing. If you use a tag gun please insert the gun in a label or inside seam NOT through part of the clothing (to avoid making a hole or tear in the clothing).

tagging toys and baby equipment
Fasten tags securely to your items with clear mailing tape; do not use scotch tape.  You can also punch a hole in the top of your JBF tag and attach the tag securely with ribbon or string.  Zip ties are great and useful for attaching tags and multiple items together (can be purchased at a local hardware store, discount stores, or wholesale stores).

tagging toys and equipment...with multiple items
For items with multiples pieces, put a tag on each piece.  Barcode the first tag with all of the necessary information as normal but include "1 of X", (X is the number of pieces).  Handwrite all of the other tags, write your consignor number, the description, and "2 of X", etc.  Barcode the first tag ONLY, all other tags should be hand written.  Please do not put the price on any other tags, but the first one.   Only use multiple tags for items that belong together.  Please do not do this for clothing items, clothing sets should be pinned together with one tag on the front.

tagging shoes
No limit.  Just make sure that the shoes are clean, clean, clean!  Not too worn.  And no tennis shoes uless in exceptional shape PLEASE!  Fasten shoes together with ribbon, string, or Zip ties by punching a hole in the top of your tag and attaching the tag. You may also add a hole reinforcer to your tag to make sure the tag is not torn off. (a piece of tape will do great!)

hanging instructions
Please hang size 0-6mo garments on child size hangers. Any thing larger should be hung on adult size  hangers, to prevent item from falling off of hanger.    All garments should be hung with the hanger hook pointing left (hanger should resemble a question mark when looking at the front of item). Safety pin clothing sets securely with pants hung on the backside of the shirt, so both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them.  Safety pin through BOTH pieces AND through the hanger (this will prevent pants from weighing down the shirt and causing a possible tear).  Please safety pin pants to the top part of the hanger so the garment will not slide.

hangers
Any hangers do the trick, wire, plastic, department store.

sort
Please have your clothes sorted by size and gender. This will make drop off easier and faster for you.
